PoopAI ("we", "our", or "the app") is a gut health tracking application. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

• Account information: Email address and authentication provider (Apple or Google Sign-In) used to create your account.
• Stool analysis data: When you take a scan, the image is sent to a third-party AI service (Google Gemini) for analysis. The AI returns structured health metrics (Bristol type, color, gut score, etc.), which are stored in your account.
• Usage analytics: We collect anonymous usage events (e.g., screens viewed, features used) via Mixpanel to improve the app experience. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics.

2. Image Handling

We do not store your stool images. Images are transmitted directly to Google Gemini for analysis and are not saved on our servers. Only the text-based analysis results are stored in your account history.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide stool analysis and gut health insights
• To display your scan history and track trends over time
• To improve the app based on anonymous usage patterns

4. Third-Party Services

• Supabase — Authentication and database hosting
• Google Gemini — AI-powered image analysis
• Mixpanel — Anonymous usage analytics
• RevenueCat — Subscription management (if applicable)

5. Data Security

Your data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in secure, encrypted databases. Access to your scan history is protected by row-level security — only you can see your data.

6. Your Rights

• Access: You can view all your data within the app.
• Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.
• Opt-out: You can stop using the app at any time. Analytics can be limited through your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

PoopAI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
